Imagetext is a creative partnership between director of photography Leib Kopman and curator Carla Rose Shapiro, Ph.D. Together they produce permanent and traveling exhibitions that explore challenging and sensitive subject matter. Imagetext employs innovative approaches to integrating photographic portraiture, (auto)biography, documentary materials and new media with historiography and contemporary theory. The content is exhibited within a framework which considers art gallery aesthetics and conceptual installation methods.
